Formakin Garden Competition

The avoidance of the formal or centrally planned garden surrounded by a backcloth of plants on walls or hedges. The garden is orientated about N/S and E/W axes, by the imposition of a grid extended over the whole surface of the walled area. A 10m grid is repeated 5 times in each direction to create 25 squares. The perimeter of the site is seen as a rotating and changing belt of flowering plants
