Gillender Street Firestation - for ACME Studios

The Firestation occupies a significant position within Bromley by Bow. The brief was to convert this building into both traditional artist's studios as well as work/live accomodation. The existing arrangement of spaces and the architectural features of the building allowed for their utilisation in a straightforward manner which produced this most 'natural' of conversions.
Residential/working accommodation is contained on the upper floors, large working studios on the ground floor.
