As part of the Nottingham City POP initiative, an existing warehouse and grounds were purchased by 186k Ltd for the development of an internet switching centre. The development consists of a new build, two storey building in the front and a converted warehouse at the rear. Security and fire risk safety for the high technology fibre optics communication system was an important part of the design specification. The building is a steel framed structure with metal cladding and aluminium louvres.
