Acme Studios offered for sale eight duplex studios comprising a fully refurbished ground floor studio area and a new first floor residential addition. All the studios were offered in shell condition so purchasers could undertake the fit out to their own design. The complex forms part of a larger site owned by Acme Studios and managed as non-residential studio space since 1983. The whole building was originally constructed in the 1930’s as a Players’s Cigarette factory, where during WW2 the engineers helped build the first working radar systems. Addition of timber framed lightweight roof structure with aluminium folded sheet skin, and Profilit glass cladding.
