Inspired by the Microlodge Project (026/027) this low cost version was to solve a homeless housing crisis appearing on the streets of London during the late 1980’s. The use of prefabricated, and modular single person housing units which could be temporarily erected over existing car park uses, or empty site awaiting development, required short 12 week construction periods. Each unit was to cost £9,000 including transportation and erection.
