The site opposite London City Airport currently hosts a listed sailor’s hotel. The proposal suggests a new hotel with 180 bedrooms and 50 apartments. Most of the rooms face the marina. A conference centre at the heart of the hotel opens towards the elevated Light Railway. Both hotel buildings are linked via a sunken garden within the existing depressed ground, which is surrounded as well by 328 residential units.
